Women’s Ashes 2025: England beaten in final T20

England were beaten in their third Ashes T20 as they were bowled out for 90 in a 72-run defeat in Adelaide.

Australia opener Beth Mooney made an unbeaten 94 from 63 balls as the hosts finished on 162-5.

Youngster Georgia Voll was caught off Alice Capsey after an opening stand of 56, Sophie Ecclestone removed Phoebe Litchfield for 12 and Ellyse Perry was dismissed by Charlie Dean.

After top order dismissals and Danni Wyatt-Hodge's 17, captain Heather Knight scored 40 off 38, the notable contribution. Each Australia bowler took wickets as the tourists finished on 90 all out after 17.3 overs.

The result means Australia lead the Ashes series 12-0, the two teams will contest a Test match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (30 January-2 February).
