James Taylor appointed as England Selector

James Taylor has been appointed as England Selector in a full-time capacity, with immediate effect
Taylor played seven Test matches and 27 One-Day Internationals for England, including the 2015 Cricket World Cup and all four Tests in the 2016 Test series win in South Africa.

The Worcestershire all-rounder Ed Barnard has been called into the England Lions squad for the remainder of their A-team Tri-Series against West Indies A and India A, replacing Somerset's Craig Overton, who has a side injury.

Surrey’s Sam Curran and Somerset’s Craig Overton have been called up from the Lions to join England’s squad for the final two Royal London ODIs against Australia. Both players will travel to Chester-le-Street today and will be available for selection on Thursday at Emirates Riverside and the final match of the series at Emirates Old Trafford on Sunday, providing additional fast-bowling options.
