    James Taylor has been appointed as England Selector in a full-time capacity, with immediate effect

    The Worcestershire all-rounder Ed Barnard has been called into the England Lions squad for the remainder of their A-team Tri-Series against West Indies A and India A, replacing Somerset's Craig Overton, who has a side injury.

Both players will travel to Chester-le-Street today and will be available for selection on Thursday at Emirates Riverside and the final match of the series at Emirates Old Trafford on Sunday, providing additional fast-bowling options.
