Wicketkeeper-batter Seren Smale has been called up to England Women’s IT20 and Test squads touring South Africa.
Lancashire’s Smale joins up with the IT20 group today following the withdrawal of Bess Heath who suffered a fractured thumb.
Meanwhile, seamer Ryana MacDonald-Gay has been called up to the Test squad.
She will join up with the group tomorrow (Wednesday 27 November).

An x-ray revealed Heath suffered a fractured thumb which means she is ruled out for the duration of the series.
Heath will now return to the UK to begin her rehabilitation with the ECB medical team.

Paige Scholfield has been withdrawn from the England Women IT20 squad to tour South Africa after suffering an ankle injury.
Scholfield sustained the injury during a training session on Tuesday and following further assessment she will now return to the UK to begin her rehabilitation.

Alice Capsey has been called up to the England Women IT20 squad for the upcoming series in South Africa.
The 20-year old links up with the group due to a couple of minor injury concerns within the squad.
Capsey, who has been playing for Melbourne Renegades during this season’s Women’s Big Bash League, will join up with the group in South Africa today.
