England Women squad update: Seren Smale and Ryana MacDonald-Gay

Wicketkeeper-batter Seren Smale has been called up to England Women’s IT20 and Test squads touring South Africa.

Lancashire’s Smale joins up with the IT20 group today following the withdrawal of Bess Heath who suffered a fractured thumb.

Meanwhile, seamer Ryana MacDonald-Gay has been called up to the Test squad.

She will join up with the group tomorrow (Wednesday 27 November).

Both players made their senior international debuts in England Women's tour to Ireland in September 2024.
