Late Wong wickets set up final day

South Africa 55-3 & 284 all out trail England 417 by 78 runs

Issy Wong took two late wickets to liven up a frustrating, rain-affected day at Taunton and leave the LV= Insurance Test fascinatingly poised heading into day four.

The Warwickshire and Central Sparks pacer dismissed Lara Goodall and Laura Woolvardt in a lively evening session consisting of just 12.5 overs.

Earlier England had extended their first innings total to 417 - and Nat Sciver her personal tally to 169* - as England amassed a lead of 133 and took control of the Test match.

Wong's pair of wickets and Kate Cross's earlier dismissal of Andrie Steyn means South Africa will resume 78 runs behind on the final morning, with seven second-innings wickets in hand.
