Glenn leads England Women to victory over New Zealand

Sarah Glenn took four wickets in England Women’s victory over New Zealand in their fourth Vitality IT20 at the Kia Oval.

Glenn took 4-19 and Sophie Ecclestone 2-16 as New Zealand recorded 103-8 having been 33-0 after the powerplay.

Izzy Gaze and Maddy Green put on 28 for the sixth wicket before Glenn broke their partnership with her second two-wicket over.

England scored 54-0 in five overs but lost Sophia Dunkley (26 off 16 balls) in the powerplay and then Danni Wyatt and Alice Capsey to successive balls.

Nat Sciver-Brunt and captain Heather Knight added 17 and 14 respectively to seal victory and a 4-0 series lead in the 12th over.

Knight's side meet the White Ferns in their final match of the series which takes place at Lord's on Wednesday.
