Glenn guides England to comfy IT20 win

England Women beat New Zealand by seven wickets

England Women won the first IT20 against New Zealand in Wellington.

The bowlers did the bulk of the hard work, dismissing the hosts for just 96. The wickets were shared around, but leg-spinner Sarah Glenn was awarded Player of the Match for her figures of 2-11.

Heather Knight's team encountered few difficulties chasing down the target, losing three wickets with Danni Wyatt (33) and Tammy Beaumont (26) putting on 59 for the first wicket.

The teams meet again in the second IT20 at the same venue on Friday (2am GMT).
