England Women win opening IT20 at Durham

England Women 133-1 beat India 132-7 by nine wickets

Sarah Glenn took career-best figures of 4-23 and Sophia Dunkley hit her highest IT20 score of 61* as England Women beat India Women by nine wickets at Durham.

Stand-in captain Amy Jones won the toss and asked India to bat, and her bowlers kept the visitors down to 132-7.

In reply, Dunkley and Danni Wyatt (24) put on 60 before No.3 Alice Capsey continued her sparkling international form with a 20-ball 32 to see England Women win by nine wickets.
