England Women beaten in final ODI match in New Zealand

England Women were defeated in their final One Day International match against New Zealand at Seddon Park, Hamilton.

Home captain Sophie Devine missed the opening two fixtures and hit an unbeaten century to help her side to a seven-wicket win.

England win the ODI series 2-1 having secured the T20 series 4-1.

There were two changes to the England side who sealed the series with victory in their second match of three, Lauren Filer and Sophia Dunkley coming in.

Tammy Beaumont, Danni Wyatt and Sophia Dunkley were all dismissed early while Knight was run out by Amelia Kerr for 31.

Amy Jones continued her fine form with the bat, scoring 50, while Charlie Dean scored 38 as New Zealand were set a target of 195 to win.

Georgia Plimmer and Suzie Bates were dismissed to leave the hosts 14-2.

Devine (100 not out) added 76 with Amelia Kerr and 105 with Maddy Green.
