England secure top spot in Group 2 with win over Pakistan

England Women beat Pakistan Women by 114 runs

England won their final group game against Pakistan by a record margin on Tuesday to maintain their 100% record and secure a place in the second semi-final on Friday.

England won the toss and chose to bat first, scoring 213 runs, the highest total in the history of the Women's T20 World Cup. Impressive knocks from opener Danni Wyatt, who scored 59 runs off 33 balls, number four Nat Sciver Brunt, who hit 81 off 40 and wicketkeeper Amy Jones, who got to 47 off 31.

In reply Pakistan managed to reach 99-9 in their 20 overs. Katherine Scver-Brunt taking 2-14 from her 4 overs and Sophie Ecclestone 1-11 from her full set of overs.
