England Men and England Women squads announced for World Blind Games

England Men's and England Women's Blind teams have announced their squads for the World Blind Games.

The games are taking place in Birmingham throughout August, and the competition marks a debut for the England Women’s Blind team.

Head Coach of the England Men's Blind team, Tom Lister, said: "It's hugely exciting to name our squad for the World Blind Games. Playing an event on home soil is always that bit more exciting and we can't wait to get out there as a group. We're really keen to showcase Blind Cricket and it's an exciting platform for our game and for our playing group."

Performance Manager, England Disabilities, Jane Powell, added: "It's a huge step forward for us to have England Women's Blind team playing for the first time. The squad are really excited and they're proud to be the first group representing women's disability cricket at this level."
