Bell and Sciver-Brunt guide England Women to 3-0 ODI series win
England Women sealed a 3-0 Metro Bank ODI series win over New Zealand at Seat Unique Stadium Bristol.
Lauren Bell took a career-best 5-37 as New Zealand recorded 211-8.
The match was reduced to 42 overs per side after a 95-minute rain delay.
Bell took crucial wickets of Amelia Kerr, who scored a half century, and captain Sophie Devine (43), lbw and bowled respectively.
Kate Cross dismissed opener Suzie Bates and Maddy Green.
The White Ferns took three wickets in the powerplay with Tammy Beaumont trapped lbw, captain Heather Knight caught and Maia Bouchier dismissed for 19.
Nat Sciver-Brunt and Amy Jones both hit half-centuries off 49 balls to settle England. Sciver-Brunt finished with 76 not out with Alice Capsey adding 35 as Knight’s side sealed the win in 38.4 overs.
The two sides now contest a five-match IT20 series.
