Alice Davidson-Richards added to England Women’s squad for ODI series

Alice Davidson-Richards has been called into the England Women squad for the remainder of the Metro Bank One Day International series against Sri Lanka.

CDC sanction Hampshire following 'below average' pitch

A Cricket Discipline Commission Panel has sanctioned Hampshire CCL for breaching the ECB Pitch Regulations.

The ECB charged Hampshire with failing to comply with Regulation 8.1 of the ECB Pitch Regulations, which requires each County to actively seek to prepare the best quality cricket pitch that it can for the match that it is staging.

Crawley to captain England Men in Ireland series

Zak Crawley has been named as captain of a 13-player squad for England Men’s Metro Bank One-Day International Series against Ireland Men this month.

Crawley will lead England for the first time with his Test opening partner Ben Duckett named as vice-captain for the three-match series, which begins at Headingly on Wednesday, 20 September.

ECB & Metro Bank pledge to treble number of girls' cricket teams by 2026

The England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and Metro Bank have pledged to treble the number of girls’ cricket teams in England and Wales.

The two organisations will work together with the aim of transforming access to grassroots cricket by recruiting 6,000 volunteers to grow girls’ cricket so there are 2,000 clubs with a girls' section and 6,000 girls' teams by 2026.
