  • Birmingham confirm Sawyer as Women’s Team Head Coach for The Hundred

    Ben Sawyer, coach of the two-time Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) winners Sydney Sixers, has been appointed as the Head Coach of the Birmingham Women’s team in The Hundred.
    Sawyer, 40, is Assistant Coach and a fast bowling specialist for the Australia women’s team and has enjoyed a glittering coaching career with Sydney Sixers, having led them to all four WBBL finals and winning the competition

  • Briggs and Fleming join The Hundred

    Salliann Briggs and Stephen Fleming have been appointed as head coaches for the Nottingham-based team in The Hundred.
    Former New Zealand captain Fleming is the most successful coach in the history of the Indian Premier League, winning three titles with the Chennai Super Kings. He returns to Trent Bridge where he skippered Nottinghamshire to the 2005 County Championship title.

  • Two greats of the game sign up for The Hundred

    Charlotte Edwards and Mahela Jayawardena have been appointed as the Head Coaches for the Southampton-based team in The Hundred.
    Mahela will be joined by Shane Bond, the bowling coach at Mumbai Indians and current Head Coach at Sydney Thunder, alongside former Hampshire cricketer Jimmy Adams and former England and Bangladesh assistant coach Richard Halsall.
