Former England all-rounder Mike Yardy has been announced as the England Men's U19 Head Coach.
Yardy, who made 42 appearances for his country as a player and was part of the England Men's team that won the ICC T20 World Cup in 2010, joins the Young Lions from Sussex CCC where he has been in the role of Academy Director. The left-arm spinner had previously been in coaching roles with New South Wa
England Men are scheduled to play three Test matches in Pakistan this December after the Pakistan Cricket Board confirmed the tour dates.
The tourists will return to Pakistan for the first time since 2005 and will play the first Test at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Thursday 1 December 2022. It will be the first time England have played a Test match in the city.

The England U19 selection panel, headed up by Head Coach Richard Dawson, have selected a 15-strong squad and two travelling reserves for the ICC U19 Men's Cricket World Cup.
The tournament will take place in the Caribbean in January, with England drawn in Group A alongside 2020 winners Bangladesh, Canada and United Arab Emirates. England won the Plate Final in the 2020 tournament.

The England & Wales Cricket Board and Sri Lanka Cricket have confirmed that the England Men's Young Lions (U19) will tour Sri Lanka later this month in a five-match limited-over series. The tour is part of England's preparation ahead of the ICC Men's Under-19 Cricket World Cup in the Caribbean starting in January.

Trescothick has experience working with the group and will take up the new role in the middle of March. He will step down from his role as Assistant Coach at Somerset CCC
A proposed England U19 tour of Australia in April of this year has been postponed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
The tour was originally scheduled for February 2021, and then pushed back to April to give it the best chance of taking place, but this week both boards agreed it was necessary to postpone further.
