  • England Cricket and wider game celebrate Rainbow Laces

    ECB and the wider game will mark Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign from July 1-July 6.
    The campaign - now in its 10th year - is designed to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport. Cricket will be participating for the seventh season in a row.
    Players will be given laces, stumps will be branded and there will be big-screen graphics across all Vitality Blast and Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy fixture

    England Women have named their Vitality IT20 Women’s Ashes squad for their forthcoming fixtures against Australia.
    Western Storm all-rounder Danielle Gibson receives her first full IT20 call-up after travelling to the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup as a travelling reserve in February and being named in England’s Ashes Test squad earlier this month.

    England have announced their XI for their five-day LV= Insurance Women’s Ashes Test match starting at Trent Bridge tomorrow (Thursday 22 June, 11am).
    Western Storm seamer Lauren Filer is set to make her senior bow, while Danielle Wyatt earns her maiden Test cap.

  • Injury update: Tash Farrant

    England international Tash Farrant has suffered a reoccurrence of a stress fracture of the lumbar spine.
    Farrant undertook an extensive rehab programme following the initial injury last May and returned to domestic action in April.
    The South East Stars and Oval Invincibles left armer will now have an operation and will miss the remainder of the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy and The Hundred.<

  • Katherine Sciver-Brunt retires from international cricket

    Katherine Sciver-Brunt has announced her retirement from international cricket. The right-arm seamer, who made her England debut in 2004, has played 267 times for her country, taking 335 wickets across all formats.
    In that time Sciver-Brunt has won three World Cups and four Ashes series and topped the wicket-taking charts for England Women in both IT20 and ODI cricket.
