England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today launched a new international men’s and women’s red ball cricket campaign, ‘It’s Called Test For A Reason’. Cricket Discipline Commission Hearing - Essex CCC

An independent Cricket Discipline Commission (CDC) Panel has imposed a £50,000 fine on Essex CCC after the club pleaded guilty to two charges in relation to a racist comment made in 2017 at an Essex CCC Executive Board meeting.

Durham’s Ben Stokes has been appointed captain of the England Men’s Test team by the England & Wales Cricket Board.
He succeeds Joe Root in becoming the 81st captain of the England Men’s Test team. The ECB Interim Chair and Chief Executive Officer approved the appointment on Tuesday evening following the recommendation by the Managing Director of England Men’s Cricket, Rob Key.
